LSUE students will use Workday beginning spring 2025 to complete tasks for registration, course advising, financial aid and to view a bill.
A full library of resource guides is currently being built. Students can expect to find help documents on this site beginning in January 2025.

Beyond the Basics
Navigation of the Workday Homepage for Students gives full access to the Workday Student profile, allowing full awareness of all things student account related and providing real-time notifications.

Students can update their student profile’s personal information section at any point. This guide includes the following sub-sections: Legal Name, Preferred Name, Personal Information, IDs, Documents, and Housing Status.

Students can add or change their pronouns in Workday.
Student Worker - Switching from Your Student Worker Profile
In Workday Student, some students may have both a Worker and a Student profile available. If a student needs to view more than just their profile Summary, Contact, and Overview they need to switch to the student profile.
Students can access their Academics Hub in Workday Student and view their holds, current courses and registration appointments.

View and Modify Program of Study
Students can view, add, change, and find new programs of study in Workday.

View and Update Transfer Credits
View transfer credits to see which coursework from other institutions (community college, four-year school, etc.) have transferred and/or are transferrable into LSUE requirements.
Students can view both their Interim Grades (mid-term grades) and Final Grades for the designated academic period in Workday. Additionally, students can establish third-party permissions to allow others to view their grades.

Financial Aid "Action Items" (New Students)
This reference guide helps new students view and complete financial aid action items on either the External Student Site (as an Applicant prior to becoming a Student) or the Workday system (after becoming an LSUE student andreceiving Workday credentials).

Financial Aid "Action Items" (Continuing Students)
LSUE provides action items based on the FAFSA submitted by the student and any Federal Verification requirements.When a student submits a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), a copy of the information is sent to LSUE to determine financial aid eligibility. Action items may include addressing any discrepancies or providing additional information based on the submitted FAFSA (e.g., Citizenship Status, Veteran Status, etc.).
