LSUE in the News
Louisiana State University Eunice is continuing its trend of growing enrollment with another record breaking fall this semester. LSUE has established new benchmarks in six different enrollment categories as well as the second largest fall head count in school history - only trailing last fall's total enrollment.
LSU Eunice's Braneshea Moore, an assistant professor of nursing, has been named the 2024 Elsevier Educator of the Year by the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN). Moore officially receives the honor at the OADN Convention in Tampa, Florida from October 31-November 2.
LSU Eunice will host its fifth annual "Trunk or Treat" on Sunday, October 27. The free community event is set for 4:30PM-6:30PM inside the LSU Eunice campus grounds.
LSU Eunice will close its campus on Wednesday, September 11 and Thursday, September 12 due to the expected path of Tropical Storm Francine. The LSUE administration will continue to monitor the storms' track and severity for any additional updates.

Louisiana State University at Eunice will host local and state leaders in the field of agriculture for a free symposium on Friday, September 13. The day of speakers, demonstrations and presentations will begin at 10:00AM.
