LSUE offers specially designed transfer degrees, over 100 majors, and a variety of flexible options to give you the best foundation for your educational goals.
LSUE students transfer to a number of in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities, including public and private schools. Students are highly encouraged to meet with an advisor from both LSUE and their intended university to ensure efficiency and course relevance for any particular program and degree. An advisor will help you select courses that meet the course requirements for your major at your transfer school.

Transfer After Earning a Degree
LSUE offers specialized degrees designed specifically for students wishing to transfer to a 4 year university. The Associate of Arts Louisiana Transfer and Associate of Science Louisiana Transfer allows students to complete the first 60 hours of coursework toward their bachelor's degree while earning your associate degree along the way.Prepare for Your Major - Transfer Majors
LSUE offers over 100 majors for students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university. Transfer majors are available in most academic areas. Take just a few classes to get started or even complete an associate degree at LSUE first and then transfer to another institution to finish your bachelor’s degree.Transfer Partner Agreements
LSUE partners with other universities to allow students to complete a bachelor's degree while on LSUE's campus. Through these programs, the partner school grants the bachelor's degree to the student at LSUE.
LSU Pathway
The LSU Pathway Program is a unique partnership with LSUE that offers students additional academic and extracurricular support through a one or two-year pathway program to the LSU Flagship Campus. Upon completion students will be granted direct admission to the Flagship campus in Baton Rouge with no additional admission application or fee.Reverse Transfer
Get Your Degree from LSUE After You Leave!
Reverse transfer is the awarding of degrees to former students who complete the rest of the courses for their associates degrees at 4-year institutions.
Many students choose to transfer to a 4-year university before they fully complete their associates degrees. However, many of these students are only missing a course or two, and they usually take these courses in their sophomore or junior years.
