Update: LSU Eunice Set To Resume Operations on Wednesday, November 1

November 01, 2023

LSU Eunice has successfully completed a canvassing of its campus after a morning bomb threat.  Normal business operations and classes on campus will resume Wednesday, November 1.

With the help of several local law enforcement agencies, LSU Eunice Police have searched all buildings on the LSUE campus and have not found any devices in the wake of today’s bomb threat.   The campus remains closed for classes and normal operations through the remainder of the day.

Residents of Bengal Village may also now return to campus.

We would like to thank this opportunity to thank Eunice Police Department, Eunice Fire Department, Eunice City Marshalls, Louisiana State Police, Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, LSU Police Department, St. Landry Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness, and Acadia Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness for their help.
