Victoria Throop

Director of Housing and Residence Education

Victoria Throop is from Lafayette, Louisiana and began working at LSU Eunice in February 2018. She holds a Master's degree in History from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has taught courses in history and university studies, with a special interest in the early 20th century South. Victoria worked for several years in housing and student affairs at UL Lafayette before moving to LSUE. Victoria also serves as the academic advisor for all LSUE athletes and a co-advisor for the Alpha Sigma Iota chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Catlyn Lauret

Coordinator of Student Life

Catlyn Lauret is from Grand Prairie, Louisiana, but LSUE has been her “home” for over a decade. She serves as the live-on staff member for Bengal Village, so you will often see her and her two golden retrievers around campus. Before joining the housing team in June 2024, she worked in several departments at LSUE as a student worker, admissions counselor, and academic advisor. After graduating from LSUE, she went on to earn her Master’s degree in Higher Education. In addition to her role in housing, she advises the Campus Activities Board (CAB) and helps host many of the events and activities on campus.
