Art Club

ART CLUB

The art club is a vibrant community of creative individuals who come together to explore and express themselves through various artistic mediums. From painting and drawing to sculpting and digital design, members have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of artistic activities. The club provides a supportive environment where members can share ideas, collaborate on projects, and learn from each other's techniques. Whether beginners or experienced artists, everyone is welcome to join and unleash their creativity in the art club. Meetings may include workshops, group exhibitions, bring-your-own-art sessions, and group murals. It's a space where imagination knows no bounds, and passion for art thrives.

Bengal Ambassadors

BENGAL AMBASSADORS CLUB

This organization composed of a select group of student leaders who serve as orientation leaders, student recruiters, and peer mentors.  Recruitment and selection for Bengal Ambassadors occurs in January/February for the upcoming Academic Year.

Book Club

BOOK CLUB

The Book Club meets monthly to read and discuss a provided book. Open to all students who enjoy reading and lively conversation.

 

CAB Club

CAMPUS ACTIVITIES BOARD

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is the premier student activities planning organization at LSUE, sponsoring social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities.  All events are open to LSUE students, and all students are welcomed to attend the weekly CAB meetings to participate in discussions in planning upcoming campus activities.  For more information, visit the CAB website at www.lsue.edu/cab/.

CSC Club

CATHOLIC STUDENT CENTER 

Advisor: Open

The Catholic Student Center (CSC) is organized to promote the spiritual and fellowship of its student membership.  During the fall and spring semesters, mass is held every Wednesday at noon at the Catholic Student Center, located next to Bengal Village.

Education Club

For education majors to explore teaching careers through local school visits, hands-on learning experiences, and participation in professional development opportunities.

 

FCA Club

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA)

FCA is an organization that provides unity and support for LSUE student athletes and coaches in a Christian environment with the goal of strengthening athletes' faith and their connections to the campus and to each other.

PTK Club

PHI THETA KAPPA HONOR SOCIETY CLUB

Phi Theta Kappa is a national honor society and the Alpha Sigma Iota Chapter on the LSUE campus recognizes students who earn a 3.5 or higher GPA with at least 12 semester hours of coursework and also promotes academic excellence and civic engagement that benefit LSUE students. Respiratory Care Club

SONOGRAPHY STUDENT SOCIETY

The purpose of the sonography student society is to foster a supportive community for students enrolled in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Its objectives include offering encouragement and support to students preparing for careers in sonography, providing financial assistance for expenses related to sonography registries, and enhancing the educational experience through academic support, professional development, and community engagement.

 

SGA Club

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION

SNA Club

STUDENT NURSING ASSOCIATION

LSUE Student Nurses Association (SNA) is an on-campus organization aiding in the transition of nursing students to professional nurses through leadership, involving nursing students in their community by instilling a sense of charity and an  opportunity to give back through volunteering for community health projects, fundraisers, and mentorship of both incoming and current nursing students. SNA is also responsible for planning the nursing pinning ceremony. Active members receive a special SNA graduation cord.

Baptist Collegiate Ministry

BAPTIST COLLEGIATE MINISTRY

The Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) exists to know Christ and make Him known. It serves all students, faculty, and staff with free Monday lunches, Thursday small groups, and monthly worship nights during the semester. The BCM building is next to Bengal Village and open from 9-9 every day (except Sunday) with games, wifi, tv, snacks, and more.
