Foundation Sponsored Programs

URSI - Through the Undergraduate Research Institute, students are able to collaborate with faculty members on research projects not usually made available until graduate school. Several projects of the student-faculty teams have been presented at national conferences and published in research journals.

Academic Honors Program - The Honors Program at LSU Eunice is designed to offer academically talented students the opportunity to broaden their intellectual and creative skills. While working with committed faculty, quality students will pursue an Honors Program Curriculum to enhance their learning.

LSU Eunice Performing Arts Series
- The series, which is supported by the LSU Eunice Foundation, the Louisiana State Arts Council, and the Louisiana Division of the Arts, is administered by the Acadiana Art Council. A variety of culturally significant and entertaining performances are presented to the public including traditional Cajun music, ballet, and educational theatrical productions.

Intercollegiate Athletics - Both men and women's sports are available at LSU Eunice. Currently, baseball is the men's sport with softball and basketball the women's sports. LSU Eunice competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Teaching/Staff Excellence Awards
- Both the Faculty and Staff at LSU Eunice are recognized each year for their years of service and outstanding dedication and work throughout the year. The Foundation is proud to sponsor the annual excellence awards dinner.

Scholarships and Endowed Professorships - It is through the LSU Eunice Foundation that Scholarships and Endowed Professorships are made possible. Withouth the support of the foundation, many of our students would not be able to receive the quality of education that Louisiana State University Eunice provides.
