The Savoy Family Band

On Feb 28, 2013 the LSU Eunice Performing Arts Series presents the Savoy Family Band at the historic Liberty Theater in downtown Eunice. With Marc on Cajun squezebox, Ann's guitar (and beautiful voice), and their sons Joel and Wilson on fiddle and keyboards, they demonstrate the way Cajun music has evolved. Early French ballads are added to show other historic elements of early southwest Louisiana as they join in the celebration of Louisiana's 200th anniversary of statehood.

LSU Eunice students and kids 10 and under are free. All others are $5/person general admission. Tickets available at the door 45 minutes before the show. Concession stand will be open and CD's will be on sale. FMI (337) 457-1510 (Donna).

This event is partially sponsored by the LSU Eunice Campus Activities Board
