Alexandria Freshman Named Miss LSUE
EUNICE, LA - Louisiana State University Eunice Student Government Association crowned Lucy "Maggie" Vilar as Miss LSUE at ceremonies here Sunday.
Vilar, a freshman from Alexandria is a general studies major and a member of the Lady Bengal basketball team and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Vilar becomes the fourth consecutive Lady Bengal basketball player to be crowned as Miss LSUE.
Serving as first runner-up was Chelsea Guidry of Crowley. Guidry is a freshman Kineseology major and a member of the LSU Eunice SGA.
Rose Cheuka, a sophomore nursing major from Cankton, was selected as second runner-up and third runner-up was Ethel Dinvaut of Hahnville. Dinvaut is a freshman pre-dentistry major.
Rounding out the top five was Tori Stroderd, a freshman from Iota. Strodred is a nursing major at LSU Eunice.
Twelve girls competed for the Miss LSUE title.
