Louisiana Review Hosts Reading Series

The LSU Eunice Louisiana Review Reading Series welcomed student poets and musicians to the stage as part of the series open mic event and featured UL Lafayette doctoral fellow Ki Russell as the Thursday night headline presenter.

Russell is currently a second year doctoral fellow in ULL's English Creative Writing Program. Her poetry has appeared in or is forthcoming from places such as Fifth Wednesday Journal, Electric Velocipede, Rio Grande Review, Sugar House Review, Etchings, Bare Root Review, Fickle Muses, and Kaleidotrope. Last spring she received the Timothy W. Adams Award for Creative Writing.

The Reading Series, held at the Café Mosaic on Second Street, allows LSU Eunice students and guest artists to present read poetry or fiction or perform musical arrangements.

The series has to two additional events scheduled this semester on March 25 and April 29.
