Forums to Discuss Campus Tobacco Policy

A public forum for students to give feedback regarding the LSU Eunice campus tobacco policy will be held Tuesday, January 31, and Wednesday, February 1, at noon in room 109 of the Acadian Center.

The forum, sponsored by the Student Government Association and the Campus Activities Board, will allow students, faculty, and staff to voice their opinions about possible changes to the current policy.

LSU Eunice Policy Statement 42, established in May 2007, states:  Smoking is prohibited within all LSU Eunice facilities and vehicles. Persons choosing to smoke outside University buildings and other facilities should avoid the immediate entrance and exit areas of buildings to prevent subjecting others to second-hand tobacco smoke.
