Biology 2500 Class Goes Camping
Most students in college remember field trips as a visit to the capitol building or to a zoo, but to one group of students at LSU Eunice, a field trip is an actual trip to a field.
The fall 2009 Natural History of the Vertebrates class (BIOL 2500) visited Lake Bistineau State Park in Webster Parish to hunt for specimens of reptiles, birds, mammals and amphibians.
The class spent the weekend camping and hunting for different types of specimens to identify and categorize in and around Lake Bistineau.
