Clinic Opens for the Semester
EUNICE, LA - The campus's student health clinic offers basic health services to LSU Eunice students twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays or by special appointment.
Tuesday's hours are from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and the clinic is open on Wednesdays between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Free basic health care for minor health-related problems are available to enrolled students. Colds, flus, upper respiratory infections, headaches, sore throats, sprains, cuts, minor burns are some of the problems that the clinic will treat.
When available, prescription medication samples will be supplied free of charge.
The clinic is staffed by LSU Eunice's associate professor of nursing and family nurse practitioner, Debra Vidrine, RN, and is funded in part by the LSUE Foundation's Lafayette General Nursing 1 Endowed Professorship. Dr. Brian Heinen serves as the clinic's collaborative physician and medical director.
