First Financial Aid Posting

Preparations for the first Financial Aid Posting (FAP) for the Fall 2013 semester began on September 25.  The first posting can take several days to complete because of the large number of files that need to be processed.

Financial Aid officials are saying that if a student has aid that is posted to their account by the LSU Eunice Business Office, a message will be displayed on the Home tab of their MyLSUE which will list the type(s) of aid posted, amount(s) of aid and a time frame for reimbursement.

All refund checks will be mailed to the address on the student's admissions record. If a student lives in Bengal Village and owes a balance on their housing, they will receive instructions from the Business Office of how the refund will be handled.

If a student discovers that aid was not posted to their account, that student should call Financial Aid at 337-550-1282 to get a better understanding of what prevented those funds from being posted.
